Brian has a lovely family!! Thank you Brian!!! December 20, 2005; Added a new Talk Forum or Blog that yahoo offers, but I'm not sure how good it is going to be. We'll do our best to maintain it here on our site, but if this forum results are anything like the others on yahoo, I don't have a whole lot of faith in it yet. Anyone can post to the forum/blog. It is for everyone, not just for me as all our forums are on this site. We hope that you will participate in the new forum/blog and just add any topic you like. There are no rules and regulations except for the always present "keep it clean because this is a family website". Other than that one item of importance, all topics are welcome. If you feel intimidated and are reluctant to add your 2 cents, don't feel lonely, I don't know that much about posting there either, but that doesn't stop me from doing so anyhow. If I can post, anyone can, so add any comments or info you like, or just say hello and Merry Christmas to everyone. December 14, 2005; I am very sorry but due to yahoo's problems I've lost the Talk Forum again!! Click on the link to go to the new one. Just can't use the talk forum on here. Anyhow, the New Talk Forum will be fresh and new again without any posts. If any of our visitors would like to resubmit their posts in that forum, please feel free to do so. Thank you for your patience! It's just not the easiest thing to figure out what program works with yahoo. It's a tricky situation. December 11, 2005; Today we mourn the loss of Rebecca June Vanover Potter, the wife of Willie T Potter. Willie T Potter preceded his wife Rebecca in death. Our hearts, love and prayers go out to the family of Rebecca June and Willie T Potter. Janet Potter Stern is the daughter of Willie T and Rebecca June Vanover Potter. She is listed here on our website at This Link. Our brother, Marty Potter received an email this morning at 11:14 AM informing him of Janet's Mother's passing.
December 11, 2005; We have added 2 halves of a picture from the United Mine Workers Local 6800 Fleming, Kentucky taken July 1939 that we've divided into individual pictures that may be identified. To submit the identity of the UMW member, click on any of the faces in either of the large photos to see a close up of the individual. Our Dad, Creed Flannery Potter is in this 2 part 1939 photo. He is in the 2nd row from the top in the 8th position from the left. He can be seen individually at this link. His number is 2nd8. An easier way to identify him is to use the URL or Internet Address of his picture which is http://yeahpot.com/umw/2nd8.jpg If you prefer to use this manner of submitting the identity of the individual that is even better for us. If you can identify any of the men and women in the large photos, please let us know. Each person in the photo has a row position numbered from the top down and row position numbered from the left to right that you can submit to make sure the identity you submit is not mistakenly given to the wrong person. The men and women are numbered and positioned from the complete photo, not the halves. We hope you enjoy the photos. Grandpa Dan Morgan Potter II wrote that "she was born October 18, 2005, weighed 6lbs 6ozs and was 20 1/2" long with a full head of hair, she's doing real good and growing like a weed. Exciting news for all of us. We Welcome Gabrielle Evans to the Family!!!
