Congrats to Jim McDonald and Pam Meyer in their marriage which took place on 3 Sept 2006. Pam is the d/o Jacquie McIntyre Meyer and Bill Meyer. Jacquie is the d/o Minnie Fuller McIntyre and Homer T McIntyre. Minnie was the d/o Leona Smith Fuller and Elijah Green Fuller.

Our brother Marty Potter was to give the bride away at Pam and Jim's wedding. We wish Pam and Jim the very best of everything in their life together, and send out a warm thank you to Pam and Jim McDonald and everyone who came to Marty's (aka Uncle Cuz's) funeral. Thank all of you very much.

Thanks especially to Jacquie McIntyre Meyer for being one of Marty's best friends and for being there for Marty his whole life, through thick and through thin. Thank you, Jacquie. Marty loved you, Pam and PJ very much.

I miss him so much.

Details of Marty's Burial and Funeral

August 10, 2006

My heart is broken in pieces this evening. We've lost our beloved brother, Joel Martin "Marty" Potter. He passed away in the Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena Texas at about 9:25 pm, Thursday, 10 August 2006. The doctors there performed a quadruple bypass surgery upon him and he did not recover. We are sad beyond words about our terrible loss.

Marty was much too young to have died and he will be missed beyond belief by us all. I don't know what else to say right now. I am hurting so much that I just can't continue this message to our friends and family, except to say that as soon as we know about his burial plans, I will post it here and in several other places on our website.
