Duran Bentley passed from this life at his home at Jenkins, Kentucky on Tuesday, October 2nd, 1956. He was the son of Arie and Hannah Potter Bentley, he was born on April 12, 1900 being 56 years, 5 months and 20 days of age at his death.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Bentley and the following children: Mrs. Coleman Meade, Neon, Kentucky; Mrs. Willard Wright, Ohio; Brent Bentley, Shelby Gap; Norman Bentley, Jenkins; Teddy Bentley, Shelby Gap, Kentucky; Mrs. Jackie DePriest, Detroit and Buford Wayne Bentley at home.
Funeral Services will be held at the residence Burdine, Ky. on Thursday October 4, 1956 at 10:00 A. M. E. S. T. with Revs Lloyd Pike, Charlie Ison and Rev Arnold officiating. Burial in Marshall Branch Cemetery, Jenkins, Kentucky.
