OBITUARY OF NANCY MARIE BENTLEY
Nancy Marie Bentley, 93, of Jackhorn passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at the Britthaven Nursing Home in Cumberland, Kentucky. Nancy was the daughter of the late (Caleb) Creg "K" Bentley and Dolly Elizabeth (Fleming) Bentley. She was the widow of Noah Sherman Bentley. Surviving are 2 sons: William Gerald Bentley of Clyde, Ohio and Donald A. Bentley of Jackhorn; 5 daughters: Annette Mae Bentley of Jackhorn, Billie Sue Williams of Harvey, Louisiana, Phyllis Ann Bates of Harvey, Louisiana, Judith Gail Bentley of Norton, Virginia, and Rhonda Hall of Weber City, Virginia; 1 brother: Daniel Bentley of Frankfort; 1 sister: Ellen Hampton of Pikeville; 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday, August 2, 2007 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Virgie, Kentucky.

NOAH S. BENTLEY, passed from this life on Saturday, September 26, 1970, at his Residence at Jackhorn, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Thomas and Clearice (Fleming) Bentley, born November 19, 1904 at Eddie, Kentucky, making his stay on earth 65 years 10 months and seven days. He leaves to mourn his passing 10 children: Annetta Bentley of Millstone, Kentucky; Nareene Bentley of Cincinnati, Ohio; William Bentley of Clyde, Ohio; Billie Sue Wi1liams of Whitesburg, Kentucky; Mrs. Phillis Bates of Oxnard, California; Kennith, George, Don, Judy and Rhonda Bentley all of Millstone, Kentucky; 10 grand children. Noah was a retired coal miner and worked hard all his life. He loved his children, his neighbors and his friends.
