March 7, 2011 - Allie Wright, 81, of Deane passed away Monday, March 7, 2011 at her residence. Allie was the daughter of the late Town Hall and Mary Blair Yongs. She was the widow of Ralph Wright. Surviving are 2 daughters: Florence (Bobby) Fleming of London and Vickie (Chuck) Sturgill of Deane; 2 half brothers: Leon Hall and Larry Hall both of Kite; 2 sisters: Hassie Short of Jackhorn and Mallie Smith of Avon Lake, Ohio; 4 half sisters: Eula Short of of Deane, Lois Bentley of Topmost, Wilma Bentley of Topmost, and Joyce Hall of Indiana; 4 grandchidren; 4 great grandchildren; a grandson who she raised like a son: Dr. Thomas Helton; and a granddaughter who she raised like a daughter: Allison Helton. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Hemphill Baptist Church with Danny Hurst officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the John Bentley Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky
