As far as I can tell, I am not related to the Parsons other than by marriage of my great great aunt, Derinda Emiline Privett (sister of my great great grandmother, Mary Catherine Privett). Derinda married David Parsons. s/o Solomon Parsons and Lydia Sturgill.
I’d love to add your lineage if you want me to. It woud be very nice to add you to the site. Thank you for posting in our guestbook and in this forum. It’s always a real pleasure to hear from you. I hope to hear from you again soon.

Hi Kaie,
After we talked, I figured out how to do that projector film. I sent you an email to your hotmail email, but just in case, I’m putting it in here, too. As I understand it, you play the film on your projector into a box. While it’s playing into the box, you record it with your camcorder. Playing the movie into the box keeps the film from appearing as grainy when you record it with your camcorder. The only thing is you have to make sure the camcorder is stationery and doesn’t come between the projector and the movie. Hope that makes sense. It sounds like a good idea. Beats paying a company a bunch of money and risking loss.
From the camcorder, it can be put on the computer and from there to dvd and the web.

What a great site. Found it sort of by accident. You have a lot of my family already recorded. Schuyler Colfax Cantrell was my great grandfather and Edith Marie Cantrell (Knighton) was my grandmother. I have heard lots of stories about these relatives but would like to know more. Also, I could update quite a bit if you would like. I am not a professional at this. Just getting started. I am trying to find the grave site of my other great grandfather, Sylvester Cutler Knighton. I know it is in W. Va.. Any hints on how to research it further?

Thank you for your post. I would love to add all the updates you submitt. I did a search for your great grandfather, Sylvester Cutler Knighton, but didn’t find anything, yet. I will keep him in mind in my and if I find anything, I will be sure to let you know. Do you have an idea where in WV he is buried? What about other spellings of the Knighton name?

i got you email on the projector. i am still trying to locate a projector to run the film on. i will have to nag nephew, chad. i see that you heard from a knighton. that is good news. west virginia might be hard but it might just fall open for him.
