Ralph Edward Brown, 81, of Columbus (OH) passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at his residence. Ralph was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky January 31, 1940, the son of John and Cora McFall Brown. He married Barbara E. Trent in Whitesburg August 3, 1963; she preceded him in death March 15, 2021.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Berlin during the Berlin Wall Crisis. He was employed at Cummins Engine Company 22 years, retiring in 2016. He was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and was a Disabled American Veteran.

He loved Duke Basketball and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by daughter, Pamela (David) Toll of Shelbyville; son, Steven Brown of Freetown; grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Wilson, Steven Alan Brown, Shelby Toll, Sawyer (Haidee) Toll and Madalyn Toll; great grandchild, River Toll; brother, Raymond; sisters, Shirley, Brenda, Vonda, Vera, Debbie, Barbara and Sheila.

He was preceded in death by parents; wife; 5 brothers; 3 sisters. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Rev. Bill Horner officiating. Visitation 4~8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, Indiana Monday 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.

Brown, 81, of Columbus passed away Monday, March 15, 2021 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Barbara was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky November 30, 1939, the daughter of Robert and Virga Tyra Trent. She married Ralph E. Brown August 3, 1963 in Whitesburg, he survives. She was a member of Parkside Baptist Church, loved Bingo and the Kentucky Wildcats. Along with her husband she is survived by daughter, Pamela (David) Toll of Shelbyville, Indiana; son, Steven Brown of Freetown, Indiana; grandchildren, Tyler and Ashley Wilson, Steven Alan Brown, Shelby Toll, Sawyer (Haidee) Toll and Madalyn Toll; great grandchild, River Toll; sisters, Linda, Faye and Pat; brothers, Ken, Benny and Robert, Jr.; dog buddy, Disney. She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Maxine, Pauline, Lo and Fairy; brothers, Hager and Charles. Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside service will be conducted by Letcher County Funeral Home, Whitesburg, Kentucky at the Trent Family Cemetery Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. John Conn officiating.

Donald Ray Brown, 67 of Sandlick, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center. Donald was the son of the late John and Cora McFall Brown. Surviving is 2 daughters: Gabrielle (Scott) Helle of Sandlick and Kaleena Cornett of Hyden; 2 brothers: Raymond (Beryl) Brown of Dry Fork and Ralph (Barbara) Brown of Indiana; 7 sisters: Shelia (Paul) Cornett of Dry Fork, Deborah (Mike) Tyree of Ice, Vera (Jerry) Adams of Redfox, Barbara (Oscar) Collins of Colley, Vonda (Jimmy) Cook of Colson, Brenda (Randy) Summers of Indiana, and Shirley Sexton of Colson; 3 grandchildren: Kelsey, Preston, and Aurora; Donald was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Edwin, Watson, Arthur, and Johnny; 3 sisters: Linda Grigsby, Loretta Seagrave, and Naomi Brown. Funeral: 7:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, December 21, 2020 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Ray Begley and Stephen Ratliff officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Mr. Johnny Darrell Brown born December 20, 1951 departed this life on Monday January 21, 2013 at the Hazard ARH being 61-years, 1-month, and 1-day of age at the time of his passing. Johnny was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky the son of the late John Watson Brown and the late Cora Mcfalls Brown. Johnny was also preceded in death by a host of Brothers and Sisters, and a Special Nephew " Phillip Adams. Johnny was a life-long resident of Perry County, and enjoyed being outdoors a Fishing, Four Wheeling and Shooting. Mr. Johnny Darrell Brown leaves the following relatives surviving: Companion " Vicki Amburgey of Hazard, KY; Four Daughters " Cindy Brown Day of Hazard, KY, Sandy Brown Dixon of Emmalena, KY, Josie Amburgey of Hazard, KY and Osa Amburgey of Hazard, KY; Son " Shane Amburgey of Hazard, KY; Five Grandchildren " Tyler Day, Taylor Day, Cameron Dixon, Cole Napier and Jordyn Napier; A host of Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews, and other Relatives and Friends Survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Darrell Brown will be conducted on Thursday January 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on East Main Street with Rev. Terry Joseph officiating. The Interment will follow in the Raymond Brown Cemetery located at Dry Fork, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday Evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
