Rosen Crance R.C. Cook Jr. died March 26, 2008 at his home at Cromona, KY. He was 81 years old. A son of the late Rosen Crance Sr. and Emie Cook, he was the widower of Maggie Gibson Cook.

He was the father of the late Dickie Cook.

Survivors include a son, Mackie Cook, Cromona, KY; a daughter, Rosetta Webb, Cromona, KY; a sister, Eva Bentley, Cromona, KY; five grandchildren, Melissa, Jeannie, Janie, Crystal, and Forester; 10 great-grandchildren, Corey, Dalton, Brittni, Kristina, Lyndsay, Kaylee, Meagan, Natalee, Whitney, and Christian; and a friend, Nina Craft.

Funeral services were held March 30, 2008 at the Haymond Freewill Baptist Church, Haymond, KY.

Burial was in the Gibson Cemetery at Cromona, KY. Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
