Hubert Crase b 1916 d 23 Aug 1944 WWII in France; s/o Hiram Monroe Crase and Mary Baker. Hubert Crase obituary: PFC. Hubert Crase, age 28, entered service Oct. 12, 1939 and landed in Iceland September 11, 1941. After he was there for two years he was sent to England, from there to Ireland, and then to France where he was killed on August 23rd, 1944.

He was survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Crase of Christopher, Ky., two brothers in service Pvt. Robert L. Crase in France, and Pvt. Charles Crase, Staten Island New York. E. J.
