Obituary - Crase, Victoria L.:
Victoria L. "Granny" Crase, 97, died July 23, 2007 at her home in Liberty Township, Ohio. Born at Millstone, KY, she was a daughter of the late Prince Edward "P.E." and Cora P. Holbrook Holcomb. She was the widow of John Bruce Crase, and the mother of the late Dale Crase. Mrs. Crase owned and operated the former Crase Beauty Shop in West Union, Ohio, for 30 years. She was a 1946 graduate of Crutcher Beauty School in Lexington, KY, and was a former member of Enon Christian Church in Sprigg Township, Ohio. Surviving are two sons, J.W. Crase and wife Janice, Mount Orab, Ohio, and Don B. Crase, West Union, Ohio; two daughters, Gerry Hughes and Ivy Greene and husband Ray, all of West Union, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held July 26, 2007 in West Union, Ohio. Burial was in the Cherry Fork Cemetery at Cherry Fork, Ohio. Posted in the Mountain Eagle Newspaper, Whitesburg, Kentucky, August 1, 2007
