Old Booker married Nancy Stanley on 5/12/1803 in either Bedford or Franklin Co VA. I believe he married Mary Bench before 1784 in NC. It's my opinion that most of the children were Mary's instead of Nancy's because most of them would have been born out of wedlock if they were really Nancy's. Most of the researchers I've talked to insist all the children were Nancy's and they also dispute the existence of first wife Mary Bench.My husband descends from Booker and Mary's son David "Spotted Dave" Mullins who married Virginia Jane "Jennie" Short.
