OBITUARY OF GUSSIE (LAND) HALL
Funeral services for Gussie Land Hall, 91, were held June 2 2007 at Carty Funeral Home, Neon, Letcher Co KY. Burial was in Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Letcher Co KY.

A daughter of the late J.B. and Lou Brown Land, she died May 30, 2007. She was married to the late Arnold Hall, and was a sister of the late Opal Johnson, Mildred Paxton, Ida Bell Land, Howard Land, and Jimmie Land. Mrs. Hall worked at the State Department in Washington, D.C., during World War II, and as an assistant librarian at Fleming- Neon High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Jo Ann Hall - Osborne and husband Stan, Jackhorn; three grandchildren, Jessica Hall, Jackhorn, Letcher Co KY; Jeremy Osborne and wife Tomeika, McRoberts, Letcher Co KY; and Todd Osborne and wife Christy, Allen, Okla.; five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Haleigh, Eli, Kelly, and Tara; and a friend, Joan Johnson, Jackhorn, Letcher Co KY.
