1. PARKER LUCAS b. ca. .1790 m. 1) Unknown, 2) ELIZABETH SEXTON They were married sometime between Jul 1820 and May 1821. 3) SUSANNA FRALEY She was b. ca. 1805. Parker
served as a 3rd Sargent under Bagwell, in the War of 1812. He was discharged 14 Jun 1814 from the war. And reenlisted later that same year as a Private and left again in Feb 1815. Parker and Elizabeth were arrested prior to their marriage for Public Fornication and fined $549.00 in court costs in Jul 1820, but they were later acquitted. He also was arrested in May of 1821 with a Robert Lucas (possibly a brother) and a Sexton, for stealing a pig and fined $100.00. When he couldn't afford to pay it he was jailed and given a public whipping. Parker is on the 1820?30 Russell Co. VA census. He appears as a widow with young children on the 1830 Russell Co. VA census. He also had daughters listed on the 1830 census butt, their names are unknown. Due to the fact that prior to the 1850 census only the male head of the household is listed. Elizabeth was Aaron and Willis? mother. She d. sometime between 1828 and 1830. He then moves to Floyd Co. KY where he is shown on the Tax records there in 1837. He is supposed to have married Susanna in Pike Co. KY. But there is no marriage records for their marriage.

They show up on the Pike Co, KY census for the year 1840. Susanna is listed as a Lucas on the birth records in Pike Co. KY for their daughter Sara Ann. They then show up in 1850 and 1860 on the Letcher Co, KY census. Parker is on the Letcher Co. tax lists for 1842?1868. Parker and Susanna then move to Grayson, Carter Co. KY, where they are found on the 1870 Carter Co Census, although they are not shown as owning property in Carter Co at that time (according to the tax records) . By 1870 there are no family members left in Letcher Co. KY (with the exception of their daughter Martha who married Enoch A. Webb). Aaron and his children start reappearing in Letcher Co around 1880. It is believed that Parker and Susanna then moved to Boyd Co. Ky where they both d. and are buried in the Eastham-Fields cemetery.

There is no known death date for Parker and it is presumed that Susanna d. ca 1900. As there are no dates on their grave markers.

2. EMANUEL TODD LUCAS m. 1) 7, 2) CHARLOTTE MOORE on 15 Sep 18/45 in Letcher Co, KY. They were married the same day as his brother Willis. The four of them were married by Minister John Caudill. She was b.ca 1825. 3) EMILINE TYREE. Emanuel is shown as owning property in both Carter Co. KY and Letcher Co. KY at the same time. He has property at Rockhouse Fork for the years 1865?67 and property in Carter Co. KY off and on from 1865?1875. Emanuel's 3 oldest children are not by Charlotte. They were b. in Pike Co. KY. In 1870 Charlotte is living with their son Henry. Son James next is living door with his wife and younger brother Peter. Also in 1870 Emanuel and his third wife are living in Greenup Co. KY.

fall from a horse Ca. 1904. She was the daughter of William and Jane (Lucas) Vanover. She and Aaron were both born in VA. Aaron is presumed to have died in 1921, since that is when his will was probated. Aaron and Eliza moved from Letcher Co in 1868 and are living in Louisa. Lawrence Co. KY in 1870. living next door to Eliza?s brother ?Sonny and his wife Elizabeth (Lucas) Vanover. But they are back living in Letcher Co in 1880. Both are buried in the Rob Bates Cemetery at Camp Branch. Letcher Co. KY.
