Marty Potter spent most of his adult life after the air force working at the Houston Ship Channel. He was retired and spent his leisure time fishing, hunting and gathering genealogy data for our website.

Marty took every one of us fishing and each time we went, we were not disappointed because we always had a great catch. Mart knew all the good fishing places in the area.

Marty worked on our genealogy a great deal. A huge amount of our accumulated records are accredited to Mart's hard work. The most recent thing he did was to make a trip to Kentucky about 2005 where he recorded our brother Archie Potter's oral history.

While Marty was in Kentucky, he also photographed many of our ancestor's grave stones. That alone is priceless. A very very special thank you goes out to our brother, Joel Martin Marty Potter for all his hard work. Visit Marty's Tribute Page
