Billy Ray Bunch of Viper, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Health Care Center. He was the son of Anna Lee Hall and Bill Bunch. Billy was raised by stepfather, Clabe Potter and mother, Anna Lee Hall. He was born August 4, 1934 being 72 years 8 months and 29 days of age at the time of his passing.

Billy Ray Bunch is survived by companion and friend, Peggy Yawn, 1 son, Billy Ray Bunch Jr, of Florida; 4 daughters, Karen Porter and Barbara Burdette, both of Anderson, South Carolina, Tina Sturgill and Linda Perkins, both of Viper, Kentucky, 1 brother, Victor Potter of Jackhorn, Kentucky and 6 sisters, Opal Potter Fleming of Indiana, Zella "Sis" Barnes of Nevada, Georgia Fleming of Ohio, Rheba Arnold - Hines, Betty Dunford and Hazel Thompson all of Michigan; 17 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Billy Ray Bunch was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Lee Hall Potter and stepfather, Clabe Potter, 2 sons, William Yawn and Gilbert Bunch, 2 brothers, Roy Potter and Perry Potter, 1 sister, Beulah Stallard and 2 grandchildren.

Burial at Potter Cemetery, Jackhorn, Letcher Co Kentucky.
