Obituary - Dorothy Tackett Rose Mullins, 82, of Shelby Gap, KY, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at Mountain View Health Care Center, Elkhorn City, KY. She was born in Pike County, KY, May 11, 1926, a daughter of the late Elihu and Lottie Potter Tackett. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Rose; her second husband, Earlist Mullins; and one son, Dallas Rose. She is survived by four sons, Wilson Rose and Michael Rose, both of Ellicott City, Md., Gregory Rose of Mt. Sterling, KY, Donald Rose of Pounding Mill, Va.; two daughters, Reida Shouse of Elkhorn City, KY and Anita Cantrell of Shelby Gap, KY; one sister, Bonnie Beighel of Stanton, KY; 17 grandchildren, and two great - grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, in the Bailey Funeral Home Chapel with Dolph Kelly and Jim Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery, Draffin, KY. Arrangements are under direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Elkhorn City, KY.
