Cunningham Memorial Park Cemetery m. Bessie Sword in 1920 and had two
sons John Raymond and Russell Ratliff. Bessie was previously married and
had son Robert. Alex worked around the coal mines for several years as a
mechanic and electrician. They moved to the South Charleston area, near St.
Albans, WV, where they raised Robert, John Raymond, and Russell.

KY d March 22, 1961, Elkhorn City, KY, age 67 m. Grover
Cleveland "Cleve" Belcher on March 2, 1911. They had one daughter, Ival Belcher who
married Guy Sifers on April 28, 1934. Grover Cleveland Cleve Belcher was a
carpenter and he built many houses on Elkhorn Creek.

1943 - 1945, wounded in Germany, Captain, Infantry. He was author of "My Ratliff
Family, 1730’s - 1990". Ralph Hellier Ratliff married Dorothy Lermond Davis on April 24, 1937, in
Welch, McDowell Co, WV. Their kids - Mary Jane, Ralph Hellier II,
and Susan Anne Ratliff. Ralph Hellier Ratliff was a resident of 1104 Groveland Drive, Bluefield,
