I wanted to personally invite each of you to join us for our reunion next weekend. It will begin in Hindman, KY with a genealogy workshop on Friday at the restaurant in the Holly Hills mall, Saturday we will meet at the Ball Creek Fire Station in Leburn, KY and then on Sunday some of us will meet for breakfast.

Since we are all related to each other in SE Kentucky it will be a great chance to make new connections, renew old friendships and meet new relatives. The reunion for all descendants and relatives of the Reynolds, Amburgey families will meet the first weekend in October, 2006. On Friday at 2 pm they will gather at the Holly Hills Restaurant in the Holly Hills Mall in Hindman KY for a genealogy workshop, and sharing of info, pictures, etc. They will have dinner at the restaurant following the workshop and everyone is invited to attend both events. The only cost for this event is the cost of your dinner if you want to join us for dinner. The dinner will be ordered off the menu and the prices range from $5.50 to $8.50.

On Saturday, Oct. 7th, they will meet at the Ball Creek Fire Station, 4874 Possum Trot Road, Leburn, KY starting at 11 am for an old-fashioned family get together with a 'Covered Dish' dinner at 3:30 pm. The meat, beverages and tableware will be provided, just bring a dish to share. The cost of the reunion will be $7 per person which will just cover our costs for the rental and food provided. There will be door prizes, raffles, and the Family Heritage Cookbook and Reunion T-Shirts will be available for purchase that day. There will be a separate raffle for a Family Tree Wall Hanging.

Sunday some of the families plan to meet for breakfast and visit local family cemeteries. Everyone is welcome to participate in this Family Homecoming and we welcome all new cousins.
