Ella Mullins Reynolds, age 84 of
Mallie, passed away February 9, 2009, at the Knott County Nursing Home in
Hindman. She was born June 4, 1924, in Knott County, the daughter of the late
Jeff & Cordealia Caudill Mullins. She was a homemaker and the wife of the late
Burnice Reynolds. She is survived by 2 sons: Delmar George (Judith) Reynolds of
Pinetop, & Edward Dewayne Reynolds of Mallie; 3 daughters: Gaynell Dyer of
Mallie, Barbara (Bordes) Slone of Mallie, & Violet Fern (John) Richardson of
Rock Wall, Texas; raised as her own: twin grandsons: Justin & Jeremy Reynolds; 4
sisters: Emma Jacobs of Whitesburg, May Perkins of Indiana, Lettie Hammonds &
Mercedes Slone both of Mallie; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 6 step
grandchildren & 1 step-great granddaughter a host of nieces, nephews, family &
friends. She was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Brenda Carol Reynolds. Funeral
services were held Thursday, February 12, 2009, at 1 p.m. at the Nelson Frazier
Funeral Home at Hindman. Burial followed at the Reynolds Family Cemetery at
Mallie, under the direction of the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home of Hindman,
Kentucky.
