Roseberry 1937-2008
BEAVER CREEK, OH - Mr. Charles Roseberry, age 70, of Beaver Creek, Ohio,
formerly of Elliott County, passed away Tuesday morning, April 1, 2008, in the
Crestview Manor Nursing Home in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Roseberry was born September
23, 1937 in Elliott County, a son of the late John Tom and Carrie Lewis
Roseberry. Charles was of the Pentecostal faith and had worked many years as a
roofer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers,
John Will Roseberry and J.C. Roseberry; three sisters, Dorothy Hill, Bessie
Keeton and Effie Horton. He is survived by his wife, Kelda June Combs
Roseberry of Beaver Creek, Ohio; two daughters, Loretta Highfield of Sandy
Hook, and Yvonne Poniciano of Beaver Creek, Ohio; three brothers, Herman
Roseberry of Rogersville, Tennessee, Jimmy Roseberry of Kettering, Ohio and
Ezra Roseberry of Grayson; one sister, Ruby Rose of Sandy Hook; five
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; along with a host of extended
family and friends who will sadly mourn his passing. Funeral services were
held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, in the chapel of the Waddell and Whitt
Funeral Home. Brother Eugene Haney and Brother Roger Keeton officiated the
service. Burial followed in the Elliott County Memory Gardens in Sandy Hook,
OH. Family and friends served as pallbearers
