Obituary, Ballard Morgan: Services held for Ballard Morgan;  Ballard Morgan, 77, of Ermine, Letcher County, Kentucky, died October 6, 2007 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital, Whitesburg, Letcher County, Kentucky. He was a member of the American Legion and the Masonic Lodge, and was a son of the late Winston and Alice Combs Morgan. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Niece Morgan; two daughters, Debbie Collins and Medriah Morgan, both of Ermine, Kentucky; a granddaughter, Danielle Francis; five grandsons, Zachary Figueredo, Adam Figueredo, Jeremy Sturgill, Daniel Collins, and Joshua Kirkland; and five great-grandchildren, Arielle Wright, Kristen Wright, Payten Wright, Madison Wright, and Isaac Kirkland. Funeral services were held October 10, 2007 at Letcher Funeral Home. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery at Mayking, Letcher County, Kentucky.
