John M. Stallard dies in Louisville, was 107
Former Letcher County resident John M. Stallard died May 29 at the Franciscan Health Care Center in Louisville. He was 107 years old. He was a son of the late James Bradley and Elizabeth Matilda Bentley Stallard, and was the widower of Dorothy Combs Stallard. He was the father of the late McKinley Ray Stallard and Martha Pauline Price. Surviving are a daughter, Peggy M. Baldwin; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held May 31 at Evergreen Cemetery in Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY. Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
