Obit: Wright, Creighton Wilmer passed from this life on Sunday June 28, 1970 at his residence at Thorton, KY. Of an apparent heart attack. He was the son of Wm. Henry and Nannie Lou (Sowards) Wright, born January 16, 1917 at Jenkins, KY. He is survived by his mother, Nannie Wright of Jenkins, KY.; his wife Mary Adams Wright of Thornton, KY., and the following children; Charlotte of Miami, FL., Roger Neal of Louisville, KY.; Naomi Bean of Louisville, KY.; Linda Wright of Winchester, KY., Samuel Wright of Lexington, KY.; Martha Wright of Pikeville, KY.; six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Burial in family plot of the Reynolds Cemetery, Seco, KY.

Obituary: Wright, Mack 78 of Rt. 1, Jenkins, KY, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 12, 1991 at the Dickenson County Medical Center, Clintwood, VA. He was the son of the late William Henry Wright and Nannie Lou (Sowards) Wright, born May 17, 1912 at Jenkins, KY. Survivors are his wife, Bernice Bentley Wright; and three daughters: Peggy Mullins of Jenkins, KY; Iris Layne and Donna Mack Hale, both of Pound, VA; three grandchildren: Stephanie Mullins Collins, Richmond, KY; Jonathan and Jason Hale, both of Pound, VA; a brother William F. Wright of Jenkins, KY; two sisters Naomi Quick of Jenkins, KY; and Edith Davis of Ormond Beach, FL. Mack was a retired supervisor for Adams Stone Company of Jenkins, KY; a member of the Bradley Burkhart Post No. 66 and the Christopher Gist Post No. 9600; a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army. He attended the Jenkins United Methodist Church. Interment in Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Norton, VA.

Obituary: Wright, Nannie Lou, 87 passed from this life on Monday, July 31, 1972 at the Jenkins Clinic Hospital, Jenkins, KY after a long illness. She was the daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Branham) Sawyer. Born June 3, 1885, at Wise County, VA. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband Henry Wright and Mr. William F. Wright of Jenkins, KY. One sister: Mrs. Tilda Wright of Jenkins, KY. Thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wright was a member of the First Church of God, Neon, KY. Burial in family plot of Letcher County Memorial Garden, Payne Gap, KY.
