Rick Glynn Dellinger b 28 Apr 1955; s/o Vernon Elbert Dellinger and Myrtle Potter. Rick Glynn Dellinger m. Judy Marchia McFall b 29 Aug 1952; d/o Louis McFall and Margaret Emily Collins. Rick Dellinger worked at Paramont Mining in Wise, VA for seven years, then worked driving a mine supply truck to four states. After moving to Richmond VA, he worked at a trucking company for about a year, then went to work for the VA State Capitol Police and will be with them 20 years in November of 2007. Rick Glynn Dellinger and Judy Marchia McFall have a daughter;

1. Shanda Dellinger b 13 Sept 1977; m. 15 Jun 2002 to Garrick Andrew Ball. Shanda is a graduate of USC. Child of Shanda Dellinger and Garrick Andrew Ball;

i. Lilah Grace Ball b 27 Jun 2008 at approximately 9:00 A.M.! Congratulations to this happy family on the birth of their newborn daughter!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Rick and his family for the loss of his precious Mom, Myrtle Potter Ward. Myrtle Mae Potter Ward Obituary. Myrtle Mae Ward COEBURN, Va. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith!" II Timothy 4:7 Myrtle Mae Ward, 90, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the Heritage Hall Wise, Va. She became a Christian at a very early age, and was a great witness for the Lord, she witnessed to every one she came in contact with, and all that knew her, knew she loved the Lord with all her heart. She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Pettijohn; and her grandson, Anthony Scott Blevins. Surviving are her daughter, Debra Pickett of Coeburn; two sons, Roger Dellinger and his wife, Barbara of Coeburn, and Rick Dellinger and his wife, Judy of Midlothian, Va.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two sisters, Peggy Ramsdail and her husband, Bob of Lima, Ohio, and Nettie Bentley and her husband, Roy of Newark, Ohio. The family will receive friends Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sturgill Funeral Home, 310 6th Street NW, Coeburn, Va. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday in the Sturgill Funeral Home Chapel Coeburn with the Rev. Stephen Pettijohn and the Rev. Darrell Milgrim officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Acres Cemetery Coeburn. Sturgill Funeral Homes, 310 6th Street NW, Coeburn, VA 24230, in charge of arrangements.
