Obituary of Alvery Clark A. C. Potter (August 18, 1945 - April 8, 2016): Alvery (A.C.) Potter, age 70, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center. A.C. was born on Aug. 18, 1945 to his parents the late Alvery Potter and Faye Farley Potter. He was retired self employed coal operator and farmer, and also a member of Grace Baptist Church at Shelbiana, Ky. Along with his parents, A.C. was preceded in death by one sister, Glema Ward. A.C. is survived by two daughters, Stephanie (Perry) Merritt, Angela (Ronnie) Runyon, one son, Alvery Clark Potter II, two grandchildren, Aaron and Adam Ward, one great grandchild, Sophia Kate Ward, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Brian Horton officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville, Pike County, Kentucky.
